In this unique and challenging year, we wish you a wonderful Christmas break and hope you are able to get out and enjoy some turns in fresh powder!
Our season has begun and it is already looking different for everyone. As competion is most likely postponed until February (awaiting updates from the government), you will have time to focus on training at your local mountain. We hope you take advantage of home snow and a great opportunity to work on skill development and better skiing!
We are still at the mercy of the government and ski resorts to run our programs, so we are asking you to err on the side of caution and help us stop the spread and keep numbers low so the lifts can keep running and we can continue to enjoy skiing and running club programs. As we see from other parts of Canada and the rest of the world, there is no guarantee, so let’s work together and continue the great job everyone has done so far. Even though overall club registrations are lower than last year at this point, four of our clubs are already at an all-time high. That is fantastic and encouraging news!
As always, BC Alpine is here for you so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything. Our office will be closed for the holidays beginning Friday, December 18th, and will reopen January 4th, 2021. If there are any updates concerning our sport or the ski industry, we will make sure the information is shared on our website and with our clubs.
Current information will always be available at: https://bcalpine.com/page/c19
Stay safe and healthy, enjoy the holidays!
